Krista-
What a great idea to give the students cookies at the end of your lesson and incorporate a new vocabulary word in the process! I did the same story for my DRTA so I will have to remember to add the cookies. Unfortunately, I am like Frog and Toad and have no will power when it comes to things like cookies and especially cake. We did our lessons a little different, so I might steal some of your ideas. Great job as always.

Kris I loved looking at your lesson. It had very good questions for the kids and I liked the way you went over the story with the class first. Great job and the cookies were a great touch.
Excellent.
